HORSEGUARD

Originally called “Little Horseguard” School District, the students in the area attended class in a log home until their new school was ready in 1914.  On July 13, 1950 the name was changed to “Horseguard.”  Five years later the school was closed and students were bussed to Alhambra.  The site and buildings were sold on July 26, 1962.
