In 1919 the building was moved from its original location to the current site of the Everdell Hall and set on tamarac blocks.  The building was upgraded with a cement foundation and a new floor in 1940.  The school closed in 1954 and the students were bussed to Rocky Mountain House.  The community purchased the building in 1958 and used it as a community centre.  When a new hall was built it was moved one last time to the north edge of the property and eventually burned.
